We evaluate websites in several categories based on type. Each category has its winner, and we also announce an overall champion across all categories. We compete separately in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

We have analyzed hundreds of websites, recognized the fastest e-shops, and provided data that has inspired many to prioritize website speed. The PageSpeed.ONE Awards are the next step.

Rules and FAQ
Who can participate?
The competition is open to websites using Monitoring PLUS – whether you are a PageSpeed.ONE client or signing up newly.
Any website operator in the Czech Republic or Slovakia, or an agency involved in its development, can participate.
The website must have been functional for at least two months, be publicly accessible, and have sufficient traffic to provide data from the Chrome UX Report.
CrUX data is available for all websites with approximately 15,000 or more page views per month. You can check if you have data by testing on PageSpeed.ONE.
Do I need to be visible in the rankings?
No, you don’t have to. Every participant receives results, but we only publicly announce the top three in each category.
If you know your website isn’t performing well, don’t worry – you’ll receive personalized feedback and improvement recommendations.
How do we select the winners?
We rank based on Core Web Vitals from the Chrome UX Report – Google's official metrics reflecting real user experiences.
We evaluate the entire domain, separately for mobile and desktop. We also include our speed coefficient, which weighs individual metrics (e.g., LCP metric carries the most weight).
Special awards like “Rising Star” or “Agency of the Year” are determined by experts based on website results.
What exactly do I gain by applying?
Depending on the chosen option, you will receive monitoring, consultations, or a complete audit – all of these services usually cost more, but we offer them at a discount during the competition.
- Monitoring PLUS includes daily speed measurements of your website, monthly reports with improvement recommendations, and alerts for any performance issues.
- Consultations include a one-hour analysis of your website's current speed by our experts, identification of key issues, and specific improvement recommendations. The output is a document of about 2 A4 pages, with the option for an additional personal consultation.
- Audit means an in-depth analysis of all aspects of website speed: from the server to the frontend and third parties. It includes a prioritized action plan, a management summary, and a two-hour call with developers. Typical length: 40–50 A4 pages.
In addition to these specific services, you will also receive:
- The opportunity to start improving your website speed under favorable conditions.
- Feedback on your websites.
- Visibility for your company and project.
- The prestige of an award in competition with hundreds of websites.
- An analysis of how the best websites do it.
What if I'm already a PageSpeed.ONE client?
Every website we monitor with synthetic testing in the Monitoring PLUS package is automatically entered into the Basic competition.
You can also purchase other entry options: Extended (5,000 CZK) or Premium (55,000 CZK). If you're interested, contact us at info@pagespeed.cz.
If your speed isn't perfect, don't worry; we will only announce the fastest websites. If you want to know your results, reach out to us after the announcement.
